Building A Foundation
We are building a foundation for your child in the Busy Bees class. We want their first school experience to be a happy one. We focus on obeying and respecting authority, sitting in a chair, walking in a line, performing daily jobs, sharing, waiting our turn, being kind to others, building an attention span and much more.

Adventures In Learning
We concentrate on learning our colors, basic shapes and counting to 10. We will also work on strengthening our fine motor skills by stringing beads, playing with play dough and learning to cut with scissors. Gross motor development will be strengthened by hopping, jumping and running on the playground. We will also work on hand-eye coordination, coloring, listening skills, number recognition, pairs and opposites.

Hiding God’s Word and His Truths in our hearts
By the end of the school year, your child will have 9 Bible verses tucked away in his little heart. We will go over our verse each day during our circle time and practice standing in front of the class and reciting the verse. Each month we will focus on a Bible story and bring it to life through songs, crafts and acting out the story. Along with a Bible story and verse each month, our children will also learn 11 Biblical Truths Questions. For example our first truth is, Q. Who made you? A. God.
