Expect Something Beautiful: Finding God’s Good Gifts in Motherhood by Laura Booz

This outline offers our pacing as we read and discuss the book. Reading the chapters is the preferred
choice because I believe you will benefit the most; however, it is not necessary. Give yourself grace; I do! After all, your motherhood or grandmother-hood life is unpredictable! As we meet and discuss, I know the Holy Spirit will speak to our hearts and encourage us as we gaze upon Jesus and His finished work on the cross. Whether you’re a parent or a grandparent, you are cordially invited.

I am excited to facilitate our time together and look forward to seeing you! As the author states, “While you are giving so much to your child; you can receive something special – a profound growth in God that is cultivated through motherhood’s everyday ups and downs.” She goes on to say, “Yes, motherhood is hard. It has a high cost. It requires sacrifice. But those things won’t make you lose your identity as a woman. They’re exactly why you can expect something beautiful.” Are you ready?!

Order your book now off Amazon or other booksellers and come to the Preschool chapel on these dates immediately after carpool drop-off. I hope to see you! If you can’t attend in person, I do recommend you get the book and allow it to bless your mama’s heart!
