Shannen Fields to share at Lunch and Learn, 3-16-2022

You might know her as Brooke Taylor, the coach’s wife in Facing the Giants (2006). In addition to being an award-winning actress, producer, writer, and inspirational speaker, Shannen loves sharing her story – the one that God is writing on her life. Her heart for people and her heart for the Lord are undeniable, and it doesn’t mean that Shannen has not faced her own giants in life. She has.As she watched her husband fight his diagnosis of Lou Gehrig’s disease, her faith in God was challenged. When Shannen signed on to co-host PureFlix mini-series, Rebuild and Restore, she had no idea that her life was about to take a significant turn with her own husband’s illness and subsequent passing. This show is a reflection of her ministry opportunity – one that is restoring the hearts of widows while restoring their home. God has given her first-hand experience which makes her ministry so authentic.Shannen’s message is a testimony of God’s love and grace. She says, “If you are hurting and struggling, I get it. Let me encourage YOU! God’s love for you is a GREAT LOVE! We’re still here…We’re still standing…because of the Lord’s great love. His love is eternal. NOTHING will be able to separate us from the love of God. We can be restored!”Her message is for all of us. We all face trials and struggles in life; they just come packaged differently. I hope you’ll join us for an incredible opportunity to hear Shannen’s story of how she is facing her own giants; you will leave encouraged in your faith. She is real, and she is relatable. You will want her to be your friend. Both Kerri and I have been blessed to have known her personally, and soon you will be, too!
